Mom & Me Baking

Title: Messy Hands, Happy Hearts: Our First Mom & Me Baking Day

There’s something special about baking with kids — the laughter, the flour-dusted cheeks, the excitement of sneaking chocolate chips before they hit the mixing bowl.

At this month’s Mom & Me Baking event, we made classic chocolate chip cookies. For some of the kids, it was their very first time cracking an egg! And let me tell you, those smiles when the cookies came out of the oven? Priceless.

Why I Love Mom & Me Baking:

  • Connection: Baking together creates memories kids will carry forever.
  • Learning: It’s hands-on math, science, and teamwork disguised as fun.
  • Creativity: From shaping dough to decorating, every child gets to add their own touch.

If you’ve never baked with your little one, I encourage you to start small. Chocolate chip cookies, banana bread, or even boxed brownies can spark joy and confidence in the kitchen.

And remember: the mess is part of the fun. Flour on the floor, sticky fingers, and lots of giggles are what make it memorable.
